I took a cooking class in Thailand with Bap Thai Cooking School. The school is located about 30 minutes outside of the city and is in a beautiful compound. We were greeted with lemongrass iced tea on a balcony overlooking the secret garden & water gazebo. They gave us a tour of the garden, explaining some of their local plants and herbs that are difficult to find in America. We all got a cooking pamphlet with recipes and sat around their beautiful kitchen as Chef Noi began preparing some of the dishes, having us taste along the way, then cooking a portion for ourselves. The chefs spoke great English, were hilarious, and very helpful. Everything came out amazing and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Here are some pictures of the grounds & the dishes and below you will find an interview with the chef that will shed some light on her humorous personality!
